I found out early in the sales game that social appeal is a strong thing. I use social media to expand my brand and my market and I do it every day. All I have to do is create my account and keep posting in order to appeal to a wider audience than I would be able to reach otherwise.
I start with a good image. Instagram is all about the photos and other images you can use. It is said that a picture is worth a thousand words and this is true. I make sure to use only images that are colourful, provocative, and detailed. I make sure they have some kind of clear and strong emotion in them as well.
If you do that same thing, you will get the attention of people but it may not happen right away. When I first started out, I would often buy followers so I could make a post look as though it has been appreciated by many. This gets more people to follow it because it looks popular.
Keep in mind that I do not often do this, just on certain occasions with specific posts that seem to be lagging behind when I think they can do better. It does work, so I use it when I have to. In addition to that, I sometimes buy likes if I am not buying followers. The same principles apply.
When I started getting more natural followers, I noticed that they would not always be the same. Some would come and go. I did not like that so I thought about what I could do to keep my followers for longer. I now make sure that I engage them and follow them too.
When you engage your followers, they then know that you are a good person. You see, they simply want to get some attention just like you do. I reply to comments with positive statements. I look at my follower’s pages and like their posts, often sharing them when I can. This keeps followers on your side.
Then there is another trick that I learned. I use my bio to convert followers into email subscribers. You cannot put an email link on a post, per the rules, but you can do it in your bio. I keep my bio interesting and concise, much like a Tweet. That way it does not bore.
I also put a clear call to action in my bio, offering incentives and discounts to those who are kind enough to sign up for my email list. That works out to get me many more sales leads and I can contact these people any time I want to, sending them information and offers often.
When you pay attention to what you are doing, buy the likes and followers you need to from time to time, and make good posts that are worth sharing, you can really build your market up in a great way. Over time, your business will boom thanks to social media marketing moves.
